I write middle grade and YA historical fiction. My passion is to help aliterate readers (those who CAN read but chose not to engage in active literacy) discover the thrill of being swept away to another time and place. For the most part these aliterate readers are boys.
I speak to any group that will have me on the subject of boys and reading and the literary components of a good boy book.
I have an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts and offer services as a writing coach and manuscript reviews. |
